So I bought my first mustang two days ago and I am already a victim of thievery. Some little punk stole my centercaps last night. I know it's not as bad of a incident as some have experienced but come on now; 2 days after I by the car? Well I just wanted to vent. Off to 50 resto to by some new ones, unless you guys know of a cheaper place. (oh I know, I could just go steal some) kidding

Didn't even think of that. 50resto wants $100. Now I know why they took them.

I thought the pony caps were $59

Yeah, thieves (and vandals) suck, they should be shot.

They're just going to end up taking your next set. Do you have a garage you can park it in?

No garage. However, epoxy will make it a little more difficult. I am going to talk to the desk at the apartments and tell them to tell the security guy that drives around to do their damn job. A couple months ago my buddy/roommate had his valve stem yanked out. We live right in the middle of houston (the nice part) in a gated apartment complex with golf cart security. Plus we know like less than 5 people in the area (we are originally from outside of houston, not losers) so it's not someone I pissed off.

dude, i would be pissed off just as much as you. its one of those things that is so small, it pisses me off even more because that person can easily buy it. One time someone stole my chrome valve stem caps....those...are 1.99......lol...THAT kinda chit pisses me off. Its like come on...u can caugh up the money to buy some of your own.

That really sucks.

A Word of wisdom for you though...

Don't use epoxy, the next time you need tires (or those balanced) the tire guy won't be able to get them off and will more then likely break them.

I second the junk yard option. There might be other goodies you could find out there too that you'll like.

You can try Texas Mustangs, they are right by LMR in Waco. Reminds me, gotta call them to see if they are gonna do that Mustang get together again there where the had free dyno runs

Also for a little extra security you can silicone them from behind. The tire place can still pop them out from behind and the damn theifs cant rmove them without dammaging them.... of coure it will prolly nick the hell out of the rim too though

Of course the cahnces of getting them stolen again is kinda slim as in all my years with Stangs this is the first time I ever heard of them getting stolen
