What should I be concentrating the most on to be able to get low 13's in an 03 N/A GT? If I decide to supercharge later, what should I do/not do so I am not buying parts again? Thanks in advance for the help :D

Well with your future mods, such as gears, LT's you'll be on your way. Other things to consider are Underdrive Pulley's, ECU or timing adjuster, and intake plenum and throttle body. Are you 5 speed or auto?

Most of all PRACTICE! You'll be surprised with a little practice you can get a 1.9 60' ft on street tires. Drag radials you should be able to shave off even more time on your launch.

My brother is running mid 13's with his '04 GT and he has a good deal more he can do...

Current Mods:

75mm Intake Plenum
Magnaflow Cat-Backs
Magnaflow X-Pipe w/High Flow Cats
Steeda Pulley Set
K&N Cold Air Intake

He raves about the intake plenum making an absolute huge difference. I think the cat backs are the coolest...sounds so sweet. He's run as low as 13.3, but averages around 13.5's. He's a particularly good driver (put it this way, he's gotten better stock times out of his previous 3 cars than any magazine...either really lucky or really good), but I'm sure you'd be able to run mid-high 13's with the same setup. Add longtube headers, cams, aggressive fuel and ignition maps and a new rear end and you'd be right down there.

If you have any quesions, I can get more info from my bro.

I'd be there if I can figure out the stupid drag radials , and I don't have any good suspension mods yet. I think gears, a tune, suspension and tires would get you there. And practice (which I need more of)! :D

out of curiousity, what dr's do you have?
I have nitto drags & absolutely friggin hate them. i just can't get a feel for launching on them. so far my best 60ft with them has been 2.05 :notnice:. heck, i got a 1.9 on street tires (hankook ventus sport k104's). they hook good on the street, but that's as far as it goes :(

I'm running the BFG drag radials on the rear with my stock tires up front. My best time on street tires was a 13.55 with a 2.00 60', and my best with the BFG's is 13.51 with a 1.98 60'. :nonono: I think my biggest issue is the burnout. I either don't do a long enough one, or I'm sitting too much in the water box. :bang: Plus, getting to a track this season has been a total PITA, so I haven't gotten much practice time. :notnice:

i went the time in the sig with only:
xpipe
chip
pullies
gears
tires
since you are going with a blower, skip the pullies and with the gears and full exhaust and a tune. on street tires with practice that is a combo I could run 12's with in a coupe. who knows, i might do it in a vert in the next few months.

Get rid of the Nittos :notnice: and get some BFG's or M/T Dr's :nice:

2.05 60' on Nitto DR's  That Sucks! Not you ,but the tires. :notnice:

I've pulled a coulpe 1.9's and Lot's of 2.0's on the stock $hitty GoodYears in mine.

I'll be running M/T DR's come Spring time! :nice:

Buddy of mine ran a 13.4 @104 with only 3.73 gears, superchips tuner,o/r X pipe, dynomax race bullet mufflers, drop in k&n. And 4cyl springs up front w/ one coil cut and stock ones out back w/ 3/4 cut. This pass was done on crappy 275 kumhos. So you dont need that many mods just a hell of a driver!

yeah, man i've tried absolutely every combination of ideas trying to get the stoopid things to hook. from short burnouts, cleaning the tires off, burning 15 layers off, high air pressure, low air pressure...... everything. just wont hook :(
