I recently put a paxton novi 1220 SL supercharger on my 93 5.0 and the car seems to be running okay, but now that I have installed my boost gauge I am only seeing about 1-3psi of boost. The pulley is rated at 5-6psi could my engine flow that well that the boost numbers are that low? Mods are e-303 cam, 70mmtb, cobra intake manifold, ported e-7 heads w/ bigger valves, and shorty headers. Thanks for any suggestions

i doubt the mods you have will cause that much loss of boost.
i ran ported e7s, typhoon and b-cam and made 5 psi on a "5psi" vortech
make sure your not bleeding boost off somewhere.

i made the mistake of misrouting my PCV bypass when i put my blower on originally. i was bleeding boost back in front of the blower, ran better just not a whole lo. fixed that and it picked up alot of power making 5 psi...

The way I have my PCV routed is the nipple on the tb is capped off, and the line from the passenger valve cover is vented over to the air box were it is fed into a fuel filter to catch any oil. This is the way the instructions in my kit said to run the pcv so that you do not pressurise your crak case. Is this the way you guys have yours set up??

Check your belt tension, my Vortech was only putting out 3PSI on the dyno, snugged up the belt a little and got the other 2PSI out of it, mine is a 5-6 unit.

I went from 6psi to 10 by puting sealer on the threads where the blow off valve screws into the power pipe

Check if all your flexable rubber tubing don't have too sharp of a bend in them, that is one reason power pipe work so good it that it give the air such a smooth path.
My friend have a then stock top end everything 5.0 with the standard 6psi A-trim and he did not even see 5psi on the gauge. It will be less for you with the better flowing intake, heads etc.

The belt will stretch some when new. Could be belt slippage as well. If You can twist the belt 90deg. it is to loose
