I got a quarter glass on eBay for a pretty good deal.
The car is at the shop, it's all prepped and ready, I will paint it either Friday night or Saturday morning.
I've also been rounding up parts for my next project after paint and reassembly.

Those are P heads with new valves and trickflow springs, I also have a B303 cam, and 3:73 gears. This should wake this car up a little bit.

Nice! The projects never end!!
Not sure if that’s how you got it, but I’m liking that darker gray on the intake!!

I have a pair of bbk Shorty's, that's what the guy I got them from was using with 90 degree spark plugs boots. The headers aren't on the car yet, I will mock everything up ahead of time, with pics of course.
I ain't scared of nuthin!

The car is in the booth, all taped up and ready, painting in the morning, just needs a final wipe down and I can start spraying. Now I remember why I quit painting.

And it's white

And I even signed a spot, I knew I would some where.

It came out good, a couple of dirt nibs and a little orange peel, but for using expired, free paint with the totally wrong hardner for an overall, I'll take it.

Did a little mocking up parts today, these pics are of the P heads, and the bbk Shorty's, I took a close up of the closest spark plugs, and another with a 90 degree boot. I think they will work fine, will probably have to cut a socket to change plugs, but no big deal.

Drivers side.

Just read through the whole thread. Nice work! I have a car in a similar state that I have yet to tackle and I am not a bodyman. But I am willing to try and I am mechanically inclined. Keep the pics and info coming.

A bunch of people don't know they actually make short header plugs for our cars. This is from a basic search. They do make them for our 5.0s. I've used them in my old car and a few customers cars. Autolite had some ( can't remember the part number ) they were copper and not platinum.

Not a lot going on, just tedious work like wet sanding and buffing, I really hate doing this, but it had to be done. I started doing some reassembly this evening, I still have to paint all the trim and moldings, and do something with the quarter windows, but I have a plan for them, I'll explain that later.
Here's some pics.

I also restored my headlights, the side marker and turn signal lights I buffed and polished, the headlights themselves I wet sanded with 1000 grit and had the painter at work clear coat them. I've done several headlights this way, and they hold up great.

My new used quarter window showed up, the molding is in rough shape, but I knew that going in. My plan is to sand the rubber and use high build primer to fill the pits, and then repaint. There are other threads here that hoopty5.0 did his that way, I think thats what someone already did to my original windows, when i sanded it I found grey primer.
I already started sanding the rubber with 180, but remembered to take some pics.

My original window after i sanded the black paint off.

Quarter windows sanded and ready for primer, the one that already has primer I sanded with 180, the other one with 120. I did prime them, but forgot to get a pic, I'll get one in the morning, I'm doing these at work.
Also did some reassembly and buffing on the rear
