Low Oil Level Sensor (plug)

You get a light but you don't get a code.

That's [if] there is a path to ground. Removed, you get nothing.

There's no fail-safe that says, "Idiot, you don't have a sensor".
And apparently none to say it the sender is unplugged. So I better check the circuit and get that burning oil smell (after it is parked for a week or two) that is not showing up as a drip found.:fuss:I expect my Corvair to smell a little like that, but not my 5.0.

I had a Mitsubishi once with the same kind of setup. It ate itself without so much as a peep. :poo:
