Couldn't really find what I needed. So, I am putting a new deep sump oil pan and really don't feel like getting it bunged to put a low oil sensor back on it.

If I do not connect the wire, will the light stay on? Don't want to take the bulb out either..

or, suck it up and get it bunged?

You'll be fine if you don't want to add the bung. The low oil light only turns on if the sensor is plugged in, so just tie the wire up out of the way and maybe tape off the end so nastiness doesn't get in the connector.

I've got a '90 with a Moroso 7-quart. No bung, no sensor, no light.
