Well I need to replace my lower ball joint and I was wondering if my 1992 controll arms will accept a 1994 ball joint since I have spindles from a 94 GT. Other options I was looking at were aftermarket or buy 94 control arms but Im not sure if they will bolt up or change the front end spacing.

labor and time are the main reasons, machine shop said $20 a side to press out/in the new joints and $50 each ball joint, when 190 I can get the new arms, joints and controll arm bushings and not fool with taking it to the machine shop.

What do you need that for?
You can take a ball joint out fairly easy at home,

Also you can rent a Tool from AutoZone for free (you leave a deposit then when you bring the tool back they give you your deposit back)

Trust me a DIY mechanic can do balljoints on Mustangs, There really easy,

Personally I think its a waste buying $200 A-Arms when you can get 2 new joints for $40, and rent a tool for free

Oh and $50 a joint is a lot,

Autozone (please dont think I like autozone lol, I only know so much because I was there asking for the same thign Saturday night)

There $19.95 each side at autozone,
Pepboys might be the same or cheaper,

$50 each is a lot, for that you can get the Steeda X2 Balljoints,
