I'm thinking of installing some lower control arms on my mustang. But I want to ask anyone out there; Are they worth it? How much ride quality do you loose? Better yet, what are the pros? What is the best brand out there?

Well, Maximum Motorsports, Steeda, and HPM are all top notch.....

I'd suggest any of em. I'm actually debating between all 3 right now lol. I got some cheaper ones awhile back, and they boosted teh ride quality and helped me in the corners and on launchers a good bit. So, I just can't wait to see what top notch ones do!!!

Best of luck,

-Will

The pro's to lowers are huge:
1) Dramatic handling improvement over flexy stamped metal stock arms
2) Significantly stiffer mounting point for rear sway bar (adds to handling improvement)
3) If you get adjustable "weight jacker" type, you can adjust the rear ride height very easily to whatever you want ( a very cool feature)

You will lose a bit of ride quality since the stock arms have a very soft bushing, but not much. Make sure to get some with the poly bushings. Also consider the Pro3i arms ( a very nice product). Also consider doing upper arms, too.

A much needed mod....a little more road noise, a lot more traction!
