Hello,
I am in the process of a gt40 swap and after torquing the lower intake manifold down I realized taht I put the stud for the stud for the heater core pipe bracket in the wrong location. Can I just leave off the bracket? If the brackets critical can I just remove the 1 bolt and install the stud or will I have to retorque everything?

Thanks!

Thanks, are there any other brackets that attach to the lower manifold? I have two studs and I'm not sure the correct location on the second one.

Well,I have a/c and smog delete. The only studded bolt I actually USE is the one that holds the heater tubes down on the passenger side.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I left the stud off and just let it rest.

The back right (driverside) bolt has a stud to mount the firewall-intake ground strap and the other stud holds the coolant tube.
