I think the jury is out on the benefit of the aftermarket in price per HP. I'd just go with a replacement with the aluminum crossover. The thermostat area is where it usually broke and that is alleviated with the new crossover.

If I were to go aftermarket i'd go with the Bullitt.

+1 hardballr, but they are so hard to get ahold of....always on backorder.

that stock Ford intake manifold with the alluminum crossover is useless. Mine just cracked and melted right under the crossover.

edit. read that you got the trickflow. Please do post pics!

Hey roundboy, why did you leave the extender on the alt. Doesn't that interfere with your hood? Did you not do the cooling mod?

That intake manifold looks amazing! Especially with the stainless lines over it.

What do you NA guys think about it? Did it make much of a difference? I'm runnin the stock PI manifold with a stock plenum, but a 75mm t/b. I have crower stg 2 cams and full bolt ons (Lt's, pulleys etc). I dynoed 281/281 at the wheels with 87 octane.

I just ordered a trick flow plenum. I'm thinking about holding out for the BBK intake but the trick flow always has me wondering about it.

Anyways, what did you guys notice?

Thanks
