I recently pulled my fuel injectors to bench test them. While I had the lower intake off and I cleaned and painted everything. After puting everything back together it ran GREAT!!!!!For about 3 days or aprox 15 miles all together. One morning I'm takeing my son to school and I got white smoke coming out of the right tailpipe. The left has minimal white smoke. So I pulled the TB and I have coolant inside egr valve and I shine a light inside upper I can see coolant in the middle. So I bypass the coolant line running into egr spacer and still have coolant in egr valve and white smoke. When I reinstalled lower was I supose to put rtv on two gaskets that match up against heads??I **** canned the two rubber front and rear gaskets and used bead of rtv. Also I rtv all 4 corners. I have no visible leaks anywhere around lower and have no coolant oil mix in radiator or oil dip stick. Did I install lower right????Please help. Mustang is completely stock.

Yes you need to put some RTV around the water jacket ports on the heads, then install the intake gasket, use RTV up front and back like you did.

You probably still had residual coolant in the EGR valve, take it all apart clean the mating surfaces and put it all back together when you fix the intake. Wash the intake out also....

The only way coolant gets into the upper intake is the EGR passage.
