I was wondering if anyone has ever just lowered their front end to give their car that old muscle car look? Please post pics if so. Also - what are the advantages and disadvantages of this vs lowering it on the front and back? Thanks.

Well....I think your going to want to drop the rear alittle even if the front is dropped much more. With the rear that high, you could probably run a pretty nice slick under there, however I'm not sure how well the weight transfer will do with a setup like that. Also you car will handle pretty much like crap if you just dropped the front end. However alot of spring sets have a shorter coil for the fronts so even though it's not dramatic it's still dropped more in the front. If you want to do something like this I would tell you do go with an adjustable coilover kit, that way you can adjust things if things don't work out well for whatever you choose to do.

usually upgrading to a shorter spring will result in an increase of spring rate, IMO i think the SN-95 stangs look best lowered evenly

Just get the "C" springs from frpp. They give a good "rack" effect, lowering the front more than the rear.

Mine has got a rake to it. Ive got Fox body 4cyl springs cut 1/2 coil up front and Eibach Sportlines in the rear.

I got vogtland springs and the front is maybe a 1/4 inch lower than the back. I like the stance A LOT. Maybe it is just the 94-98 body style but it really seems right.

The B springs do the same as well, and are progressive (rather than the linear C springs) if you're looking for a less harsh ride.

you know question isn't about if you can lower just front, but will that acrew up your suspention geometry. U guys have to understand that suspensions -even for lowly Mustang- are designed with both front and rear as whole - there for if you lower just front, that really screw things up. So there for, i suggest if you going to do it, do both front and rear. Or not at all.
Samething as cut coil idea too

My husband just lowered the front of his 95 Gt. It looked really neat like the old muscle cars but he had trouble with weight transfer at the track so he put the rear ones in too.He yhad about a 1-1/2 - 2 inch difference though maybe something not as drastic would look better.

Well, I don't know if it's a good idea to lower our cars front ends and raise it's ass like the old leaf spring cars of the '70s but I have H&R Supersports which lower the car more in the front than the rear for a slight "rake" look.
