DISCLAIMER... this is a temporary thing. Troy (YEAHLOH95) put coil overs on his car and had these eibach springs laying around. I've been toying with the idea of lowering the car for a while and this weekend he and I put them on. We installed the FRONTS ONLY. I wanted to get an idea of how low it would be, and much to my dismay it is too low to get in my garage like I suspected, so I had to buy a 2"X12"X8' board, cut it in half, and drive up onto it to get in my garage. Its a PITA as Troy will attest to as I complained about it all weekend! Anyway, what do you think. The one side pic does make it look like it has a pretty bad rake to it, but in person it doesn't appear as bad asi it does in the pics. The fender gap is really close between the front and rear now. I only have 3" of clearance from the radiator air deflector under the car to the ground, and 6" from the front fascia to the ground... its pretty freaking low. Anyway, they WILL be coming back off before I head back to Cecil in the fall and shoot for better times. I do plan to race on them at least once to see what effect they have on my 60's. I really want to go with coil overs over the winter, I do not know what to do for the back though. Does anyone know how much lower, if any at all, the eiback drag launch rear springs lower the car.... I have heard 1/2", is that true???

Looks so much better! I'm probably going to be doing the coilovers also. Seems like the best of both worlds.

Dang Paul. Before, I liked your car, but wasn't really feelin the old wheels. Now however, with the new wheels, I looks freakin mean, and I love the thing. Good Deal. I'd say definately one of the best looking cars on here.

i dunno, maybe it's that body kit which you said you might take off, or what but i'm just not diggin it...

i bet it's just because the back has more lift than the front and it just looks a little wierd so it'd probably look great with the rear springs- does look better than the stock stance though

i like it but i know how much of a pain it is for paul to get into his driveway now i'll bwet coilovers will work better cause he could crank them up to clear his drive way then let them down to look good . we should have put steves kit on instead probably would have been alot easier if doesn't 60ft good i'll help put the other s back in but it won't be fun

oh man, you gotta do the backs up (or down as the case may be)! With that kit and those rims you would be blingin more then that guy with the 20s! lowered verts looks sooo much better then lowered coupes, IMO. Spend the money on some wood and build yourself some ramps for your garage. I think you will appreciate the look much more after all the work is done.

Thanks guys! Troy has been telling me for a LONG time now to get these springs on, and I admit I realy like the look... BUT my main focus for the car for now is to take a shot at running 11's NA with it, and these are NOT going to help. If i can hook as good as I did with the stockers, they may stay on until I can afford coil overs, but if not.... they're coming off. It will be much nicer when I get different side skirts. The Xenon hang down a good 2-3" BELOW the frame rail... that is the problem. If I get a chance I will grab a pic of just how close it is in my driveway, you'll crap your pants. It COULD NOT be any closer.

Any ideas as to what to put on the back when I get coil overs up front? The car honestly is a little too low for my taste and I wouldn't mind it coming up somewhat... that's why coil overs will be nice.

Looks great Paul!
Ever thought about painting the two screws on the front of the sideskirts? It might just be me, but they kinda stick out. You can always make them black again, if you don't like it.
I think it looks best in the second to last pic., and the rake doesn't look bad.

A shot of you launching at the track with those springs would be cool to compare with your pics of the stockers on.

On topic of the back, what about B or C springs? They would give a nice small drop, yet not sure how they would affect you at the strip. If the drag springs have a 1/2'' drop then they're probably perfect for the back.

Sorry, one last thing I love how your back rims and tires look in those pics. They look really aggressive. Do you have any shots from directly behind the car, where you can see the tires?

The car doesn't look like a racecar anymore.

J/K.

I like the old stance better. I'm not too crazy about lowered Mustangs. Great pictures though. Those pictures make your car look very YELLOW, which I like.
