say you lower a fox an inch or less. Does it totally kill your car in terms of hooking up or will one tell???

it could have some effects on hooking up, im not a suspension guru.

on the street though, with street tires, i think its nothing to worry about or even noticable.

Yup i agree with this answer.

If it was a track car, that needed to dead hook, you can't get away with lowering springs.
But on the street, there's not much of a difference.

well how about the occasional trip to the track, i mean its a street car, not an all out drag racer....

so will the look compensate for the little traction loss on street tires??

I've had it both ways, drag and handling. Drag style sucked.

When you run the quarter you just need to look more at the mph than the ET to see how fast your car is.

I still think you can 60ft like 1.8 on lowering springs, so that's better than most here anyway.

It really depends on what shocks/struts and springs you're running. A really firm autox suspension is going to hurt your straight line traction a lot more than a milder setup. I'd assume with adjustable shocks you could dial in a little more traction by putting them on a softer setting, but I may be totally wrong, so someone correct me if I am. I'm still reasearching this stuff myself so I'm no expert...

not to be rude but if ur running a 16.8 i dont think you'll have any traction issues, as far as droppinf it, stangs look bad@ss lowered, except alot tend to hit hard on bumps
