Lowering, any panhard adj. needed?

As stated in title, is there any issue with the rear? I really would like to lower the entire car, but I am very worried about my front bumper grabbing speed bumps, or my driveway for that matter!

So my alternative is to just lower the rear 1" and level the car, and I think that will make me happy for now.

Your help is appreciated.

Some cars need it, some cars don't. My car shifted 3/4" to the right when I installed Eibach Pro's. A buddy of mine cut a coil off the rear springs on his 05 and had no rear end shift.

I lowered mine about 1.25" and needed an adjustable panhard rod to get the rear centered. I don't have any issues with speed bumps, and I'm about to install the CDC agressive chin spoiler, so we'll see.

You should get the adjustable Panhard rod I lowered mine with the Eibach Sports and my friend also lowered his and both of us were off center the same amount. I would also consider getting the upper panhard support the stock one is made of stamped metal.

You will also notice a difference when you get on the gas and the rear suspension squats.

Did you get the spoiler installed yet? I am looking to do the same mods, but am concerned about getting into driveways. Any problems?

Dear XStanger,

I had the same concerns as you do...

So I bought the Ford Roesch Accessories rear lowering springs only and an adjustable panhard brace...

Had my muffler shop guys install them and adjust the rear axle for the correct alignment...

Now car is perfectly level at front and rear. Got rid of that large space between the tire and rear fender too...

Bought a chin spoiler, had it painted and installed...

Not much clearance between mother earth and my front bumper now!!!

Glad I didn't lower the front end because the slightest driveway, pothole, ramp or concrete parking lot bumper and you will scrape the #~%#%@$^ out of that spoiler...

Still waiting to get my car back from the shop (having other stuff done) before I can have it painted & installed.

Just lowered mine with the Eibach Pro kit and the rear moved 1/8 inch. Will check it again after a few hundred miles or road use.

Most won't need an adjustable panhard bar because of lowering the rear.
Some need one because the factory specs suck and the car comes shifted from the factory.
I would take some measurements before wasting money on an aftermarket panhard bar.
