Lowering Blocks

How many of you have lowering blocks in the rear of your II?? Do they have any negative effect on the launch?? I was thinking of lowering the mach 2" in the rear.
I wanted to wait to lower it until everthing setteled. I am glad I did! It sat like a 4x4 at the front a couple years ago now it looks just right (Heavy engine!!)

i have the ones that are made by racer walsh. i like the lower road course look. they work just fine for me.

I do, not much science there. I had the local high school machine shop cut some scrap aluminum to match the perches. Picked up some longer U bolts at the parts store.
