Hey guys, i am finally lowering the 4x4. I have Steeda sport springs coming in tomorrow with Tokico D Spec shocks and struts all around. The Steeda's don't lower the car as much as the Eibach Prokit does. Do I have to have CC plates? I didn't buy any yet. I had them ordered but cancelled cause I had to buy some new Mickey Thompsons instead, wasn't real happy with my Nitto's.

No you'll be fine. If need be you could get camber bolts but thats only if you go a little lower. I think anything over 2 inches and you need cc plates. Post pics of the install when complete. My car is slamed and i have the upr cc plates.

Every car is different, so you might need them, you might not. Just install everything, and see if she lines up. If not, get the CC plates. Most of the time, > 1.5" drops won't require the plates.

I got Bilsteins and FRPP C Springs and got an alignment at the same time...after a year, the car would not align correctly. Made my front tires wear the inside tread down to nothing. Bought a set of MM Caster/Camber Plates and that fixed my problem. My new tires are wearing evenly now.

You probably won't need them. Woo Hoo on the MT ETs! I plan on getting some.

I'm going to pull out my H&Rs and put in some Voltlands.

I put C springs on my Fox. Wasn't supposed to really need them. Got the car aligned correctly but after a year the inside of the tires was worn more.

I would do the C/C plates

Yo Tweek, how much did the Tokico D Spec shocks and struts run you? I've wanted to lower my car for YEARS now but wanted to save up the cash to swap out the 10 year old shock & struts at the same time.

Thanks for the info....I'm still debating Steeda vs FMS C spring...but is the C is supposed to be the same and is a bit cheaper....here I come!!
