lowering spring question (isolators)

i was curious what i will run into by not installing the isolators? will there be more noise from rubbing? or what?

i want the lowest drop i can get and i originally was planning on sportlines but i came across some bbk ones from a member on here i might get if the price is right and i want to make them as low as possible so i thought about leaving the isolators out...what will i expect from not using them as compared to using them. thanks guys

Your not going to be happy if you don't use the isolators, it'll be metal rubbing metal. With them installed it might make a difference or 1/4 or an inch with the car on the ground.

...damn these cars are 4x4's i want it to be as low as i can get it...but i dont think i would like the sound of metal to metal everytime the car moved lol im already angry at my ehxaust so i dont need more noise i guess i will deal with a 1/4"

Hey trav they clank like h*ll without the isolators. I have them I just need to locate them. I have different isolators in right now.

i sanded the original isolaters down by half so it would be lower and not make any noise.

Keep the isolators and use H&R springs. It dropped my car big time.
