Lowering springs, C/C plates needed or not?

I've seen some people say they are needed and others say they aren't needed. I don't know how much I want to drop my car, but I'm guessing about 1.5".

Here's the stock stance now.

I don't want to completely slam it, just want a good stance because this is my DD.

I have sportlines and they are a pretty radical drop. I didn't need them but I am at my limits on the alignment. I am in the process of my 5 lug conversion so after that we will see if I need them or not. It just depends on the car I guess.

I was just in the limits at the stock ride height in my vert. I put on specific rate BBK lowering springs and absolutely needed the CCP's. Now with them on there was no problem getting a good alignment.

I think it depends more on the springs used and the amount of drop. I used Eibach pro-kit and have no problems. I say, install the springs, and go from there. You might be able to get everything right without aftermarket CC's.
