Hey. Question, any feedback is welcome....

Want to drop tha Stang a little. I don't want the body sitting on the tires...I just want to lower it a little so it doesn't look so basic. Anyone have any brand names ideas or products? Any other feedback on pros and cons of doing this...I don't much about cars...Thankx....

check out steeda's website for their competition or sport spring
or check out eibach's website for their springs..


pro: better looks and handling
cons:not as good weight transfer = not as great 60' times

just my 2 cents

If you don't want a huge drop and don't want to spend a lot of jack. i would suggest the Bullit Suspension kit. Can't really beat it for $400.

I like the way my car sits...

Fox body springs 4cyl cut half a coil up front and v8s cut 1 full coil out back.

anyone have pics of a 99+ GT w/ the Tokico springs/shocks/struts package? i am leaning towards this suspesion package for my stang. any pics would be great!!!!

My Steeda Springs were perfect. They aren't very pricy either.

I have the Steeda Springs and C/C plates. Nice look overall , but in the rt c/c plate I have a loose bushing that makes a nice clunk sound when I turn slowly or back up slowly
Steeda said I could send it back to them and they would fix it, but I cant go through that hassle right now.

Ford Racing's B and C springs are quality, inexpensive ways to get rid of the 4x4 look. They both drop the car up to 1.5" in the front and .75 in the back (if you don't cut the dead coils that is...)

The B springs are progressive, so are softer on the street and better for drag racing, while the C springs are stiff all around, so make for better handling, appropriate for road course/autocross use.

i have the eibach pro kit and i love it....gave an awesome stance and the ride is great (slightly stiffer than stock but not bad)...it dropped about what was advertised about 1.5 all around....but ive heard that eibach and h&r are the two best springs

I have the Pro Kit as well. I am really happy with it and like the way it rides, the progressive feel is very nice. Smooth if driving normal and when you really want to corner it justs sets and goes. I am also happy with the Mach1 shocks, my car rides pretty much just like stock except it corners better and looks better. Definitely not too harsh.

I got the pro kit and love it. Not as low as the H&R's but def takes away from the 4x4 look. If you have an aftermarket exhaust system then I really wouldnt recomend anything lower then 1.5". Since your car is new your not going to need new shocks and struts but you will need c/c plates for a 1.5" drop or more. I got the chrome MM 4 bolt c/c plates but havent installed them yet.

I just recently went with the eibach pro kit. I love it hell the car not only looks better but seems to ride better also. dallasmustang.com is where I got mine and the price was $209.00

i went with the eibach pro kit, steeda bumpsteer kit, and steeda 4 bolt aluminum cc plates...felt it wise to do a bumpsteer kit and new cc plates since i wasnt doing the shocks and struts

they have the pro kit the cheapest ive seen it 195 and after shipping i believe it was like 200 or 205...cheapest ive seen it....stangnet seems to have the cheapest price on the cc plates and bumpsteer kit
