im planning on lowering my car soon once i get things in intact. 1 of my friends is selling his prokits off his foxbody. it fits all years up to 04 according to what he's telling me. it has nice ride feeling also. nothing bouncy. now my thing is just lowering the front since it sits high. the rear is looks fine. im wondering whats the best springs to get for the front.

Personally, I think springs should be matched front and rear. It would help keep handling and turns smoother. It seems you don't want to lower the car very much- have you considered the Bullitt/Mach 1 spring kit? IIRC it lowers the front 7/8" and about the same in the rear.

no i havent looked into mach/bullit kit. just the prokits. i dont want to lower my car too low. about an 1"-1.5 will do. the good thing about the prokits is that its hardend springs. my uncle has them on his 93 gt conv w/ stock struts/shocks and it rides pretty well. my friends are telling me to get eibach drag springs but handling around the corner will suck.

I dont think any of the "name brand" spring companies sell fronts only. You'd have to look through the classifieds and find someone selling the front pair only. However, I saw earlier today that 5.0 Resto sells Bullitt/Mach 1 springs individually, so that might be an option. I'll keep an eye out for you.

I bought my springs from www.stangsuspension.com - they have a pretty good selection of springs and whatnot. I have their own brand (2" drop) on my car and it's not as harsh of a ride as I'd thought it would be. I know you don't want that much of a drop, but maybe check out their sport kit. They're also cheaper than the other guys :nice:

hey thanks. im going to look into it. i might just get the prokits but im in no rush. i just got ford racing 373 gears for $40 new :D thanks to my uncle. im focused on that and slapping on my h-pipe for the time being. im on a budget so i dont want to blow loads of $$$$ on suspension but doing things right
