lowering?

It could be done in a couple hours, its not much work.

C springs are cheap at gefracing.com and install can be done in a couple hours even if you do it by yourself. Shops around here will charge 140-200.

Lowered Mine

I have a 2002GT and I used the eibach sport springs it lowered mine 1 1/2.

I don't ever bottom and my 275 -18's never rub.

I'm very happy with the ride and it handles much better.

If you plan on lt headers consider how much you want to drop it.

If you are looking for only a 1" drop the
FRPP "C" Springs are the way to go! The C Springs make for a perfect
drop and handling.

I got 'em and I really like them. Handles great and the ride isn't that much harsher than stock with my stock shocks and struts. Excellent buy for the money. Save the money on labor and do it yourself, like everyone says. I did and found it to be much easier installing them than I thought, just make sure you have a helper, but not necessary. There are a bunch of articles writting up on how to do it.

I'm thinking may be I'll change from Sportline to C-spring. Sportline look great, but since I installed Raoush kits, I'm afraind that I'm going to get owned by every road imperfection...

My buddy and I just installed some Mach 1 springs in my 96 GT vert and it took us about 2 1/2 hours. I didn't want much drop (1/2") just a smoother and firmer ride. The back was a little trickier than I thought but the fronts were fairly straight forward. It is not nearly as difficult as it seems but it helps to have power tools and and 2 floor jacks since there is a lot of stuff that needs to be unbolted. Good luck.

ha i thought rear was easier then front when I fif mine. I think it took me 'bout 4hrs. But my buddy and I finished case, and got cocked while we were doing it. lol

Do the Ford C' springs. I just did them on mine along with 1 1/4" wheel spacers this weekend. The car is incredible now. It drives like a real mustang should. I love this car now. Nice and firm like my friends 03 cobra. Perfect drop too. This was a simple job too. Got home from work friday, pulled the car in the garage, swapped the springs had the car back on the road in under 3 hours. This was my first coil spring install on a mustang. Did the job by myself in the garage with air tools, which made the job simple. Before the car would hop all over the road when going over bumps. I hated it so much I put the car up for sale. Then decided to do springs a few weeks ago, so glad I did. Good luck with yours
