Hey fellow Stangers and SVT owners. I just wanted to take a second to thank Stangnet, and its subscribers for all their support and help over the years. I have owned 7 stangs, and 4 SVT products over the past 18 years. I currently have an 03 cobra, and an 03 svt focus. I have just bought a house and have to sell, sell, sell. I hate to do it but have to out of necessity. I am selling my 03 Cobra, 03 SVT Focus, and my 20' bowrider boat. Can you say liquidation...LOL Anyways this was a good time for me to make a change. I will always be loyal to my my first love, "the mustang". But their are so many options out their, and I've never been one to go through life with blinders on. My hopes are that Ford in the next run of stangs will step up and move the bar of quality up to that of it's compitition. I think I speak for all when I say.... I love my stang, My 03 cobra is fast indeed, but the interior is, lets admit it, as plastic and as snap-together as a Lego set... I really hope Ford steps up, I'd really love to see the Quality of interior a Lexus has in my next Stang. My next project will not be a Stang. But it will be powered by Ford. I'm going Hybrid, and No I dont mean "GAS-Electric... I going with a Hybrid-Z.. For those of you that havent heard of one. I getting a 70' --73' Datsun 240-z and dropping a ford V-8 power plant in it. If there is one thing I've learned in my 32 years is the benifits of a good a power to weight ratio. I'm pushing over 500hp at the crank in my 03 cobra, But it weigh's a ton, and has the aerodynamics of a brick. Now take that same horse power, and drop it into an aerodynamic body, that weigh's in at about 2300lbs. Anyways this is the direction I'm going. You can learn more about it at www.Hybridz.org
My cobra is currently on auto trader and I will post a link or somthing in the classifieds here. So to all my friends and to Stang net Thanks Guys....
Greg

I have a friend that did that too his Z. He dropped in a Chevy Motor though. He invested thousands of dollars and a lot of work and time and in the end, the car is a POS. No offense or anything, his car is fast and scary without a doubt, but that is all it is good for. At least with the Cobra you have a nice solid ride and some comfort. Good Luck
