So I can pick up a set of BBK LT's, in great shape, for $250 from some guy. Trouble is they are chrome. I read some reviews on here and one guy said they cooked his starter in 80miles. Question is, could i just use header wrap. I heard it holds in moisture and rusts. Could i get it coated with jet hot or something, or would i be better off just paying for a good set of ceramic LT's. I know some people are out there running chrome and probably have never had any problems. I guess I just want someone to just say it will be ok, cause i really want LT's and that seems to be a good price.

I think price-wise, wrapping it would be the cheapest. Jet hot coating might last longer but I think it's really expensive. Same for a set of ceramics. My .02.

I've heard the wrap is crap I just ordered creamic LTs for $680. But getting some for $250 is something I wouldn't pass up.

Thanks for the reply's. I think I'll get 'em. Even if they rust a hole in like 3-4 years, it's worth it.
Just feels better making decisions like this if other stang-intelligent people agree with you.
