I have BBK LT headers just installed. I got the BBK O2 extensions. But my problem is that the connectors do not match my car. THere are two little prongs on the outside of the male connector, and those nest in the female connector (is it getting hot in here? :D ). Anyway, my prongs do not match the extention's.

Has anyone else run into this? I am guessing that I got the wrong extensions, but I'd like to hear back from anyone who has the BBK extension installed in their car.

Thanks.

You have the correct extensions. You just have to remove a prong from each one, and you should be golden. I have had them on my car for quite some time, and ran into the same issue. Not sure why they don't fit right. I think they may be set up for 96+ cars.

No big issue. Hope that was what you were looking for......

Same issue here, BBK decided to go cheap as usual and make just one O2 extender, that could be modified to fit most vehicles. It would be nice if they declared that from the start wouldn't it?

When I called BBK to order them I had the specific part number for my stang, the tech guy told me that the actual part # was something else. I looked it up and saw that it was for a 96+ stang, when I asked him about this he said they were all the same and it would fit like a glove. Well, I've got electrical tape around my connection to insure that it stays plugged in.
