Do LT headers go out/bad/break/etc? How do you know if your LT headers are no good? Dumb question I know, but I'm just trying to get educated here.

I'm talking about in time of excessive use it goes out. As far as it physicaly banging against something I would just have to be careful. I was just wondering if it's possible for them to get over used just like mufflers go out after a crazy amount of time, don't know how much just have heard it has happended. If this thread is insanely dumb as hell, please ignore, but don't flame. Gracias

Well, theoretically they can wear out, I guess. The metal is a lot thinner than an exhaust manifold. I have never heard of one "wearing out" but I guess it could happen over a couple of hundred thousand miles.

I really wouldn't worry about it.

There is the possiblity of headers building up condensation and eventually starting to rust through like a muffler. However, most people get them ceramically coated or with jet-hot coating to prevent this from happening. It's probably worth the extra $100-200, IMO.
