Lucas Oil???

Anyone ever use this Oil Stabilizer? Please share your experiences with this product. Thanks

Bah!

It totally crapped out my saab's motor. It ran funny then for some inexplicable reason the oilpan drain bolt blew/shot out. Thank God the threads were still ok. Took 2 more oilchanges to get rid of it so it ran right. The lucas trans stuff gummed my T-5 and that took 2 changes to get rid of it. The t-5 went from grinding to REALLY grinding.

Dont put this crap into your engine.

I been using it for 5 years in everthing. Never had a bad experience really worked wonders on a high milage 5.0. I use 1 qt w/ 4qts 10 30 and never had a prob.

The biggest worry with this oil stabalizer stuff is

#1. How does it affect the defoaming agents in oil?

#2. Will it seize/gumm up your oil pump?

I'd stay away from this stuff and just run a heavier oil. Say 10W-40?
