LUCK!!

i got pulled last night for going way, way too fast.....it was a state trooper and he let me go with a warning!!!! i dont think he clocked me (radar detector didnt go off) i know he saw me kill it in 1st and 2nd, but by the time i was in 3rd and 4th i was out of sight.

i dont know what else i can say....i'm gonna have to slow it down from now on

with the speed i was going they could have taken my car on the spot!!
everyone can use this as a lesson/warning. i was on the gas less than 30 sec and almost lost a car b/c of it.

i didnt know what to think when i was pulled. i was seeing my car being impounded already!!

like is said it was nothing but LUCK. thats the last time i do any 4th gear pulls on the road!

it took less than a half mile and 30 seconds from start to finish. it was also about 1am, nothing on the road.

i dont do things like that if there is anyone around.

he heard the BOV before i shut the car off. i had my pistol in the car so i had to hand it to him out the window. he saw the bottle in the back and said, "you're running nitrous too??" he knew what the car had. it was about 55* and the car was running GOOD!! by the time he caught up with me i was already 2-3 miles down the road and turning into my buddys house. i think i have worked on one of his cars before b/c he asked me where i worked at. when i told him and then he said he wasnt going to write me up tonight and to slow it down.

sounds so.... familiar

last time i got let off with a warning i spent the whole night in a police station and the guys there were cool , and we were just chatting all night , didn't book me in or anything , they gave me my keys and tell me if they find me doing that again they will inbound the car and take my license that was after 5 hours of their generous hospitality.

anyhow , having a sport car would pretty much make it hard to control yourself %100 of time you drive around in it , sometime you just get into the mood and just floor it once for the fun of it or to show off to a friend... bad things happen , but then again , there is plenty of nice cops around

Thats why I posted my crash thread....looks bad but makes people think.

You may think it encourages it....but infact it discourages it by making them think "oh hey I can get pulled over and arrested for this type of behavior!" .

I would suggest you leave it up.....

next time you think it will be fun to give a buddy a ride and show what the car has....think again. i'm VERY careful on when i do things like this but my judgement was WAY off last night
