lug nut questions?

first of all i dont know much about lug nuts. i got gt bullit 17x8 rims going on my 1999 gt mustang. my first question is, will my stock nuts work on these rims? i took a look at there and they are just nuts, thats it. from what i would think, is that i would need lugs, right. and 2nd question is what exact size would i need.....length, width, thread all that, cuz i dont know much. anything would help. thanks

On your 99 the lugs were hidden right? So you need to get some of the newer style capped ones. You can get them from Ford for like $1.98 each or order them online from somewhere that carries Ford Racing stuff. They come packaged in sets of 5 for alot less than dealership cost.
