I think it might look a little goofy. You'd be better off getting a cobra bumper cover.

As said above, get a 93 Cobra rear Bumper if you want everything to line up and look good.

some kid that works at sears at the mall i work at has a red GT that's he's fixing up and he has an LX rear bumper on it. looks out of place with the front being so much lower than the rear.

I've seen it in person and it's one of the goofiest things you could do to a GT. Cobra rear is indeed nice, but I'd also recommend the DECH style rear bumper.

I want the cobra bumper but its really expensive. Just out of my budget at the moment. So I was thinking if the lx didnt look bad I could find a junkyard one and use it as a temp with tailpipes till i got a cobra. But im not going to.

I have seen people extend the rear hangars about 1 inch and run lx tail pipes on a GT bumper and it looked fine.

I like the low front valance high middle and rear look. Its kind of like a road racer look to me, and gives the car a visual rake even if it doesnt have one. Trying it with a GT front bumper ran through my head and I have seen it done, which doesnt look bad, but the GT stuff on the side and LX out back, not so sure.

Might just be worth the wait for a Cobra bumper!
