These are priced just right. Will they do the job or should I spend the extra cash on pro3i c/c plates. The Mac's are polyurethane and the pro3i's spherical which I hear the spherical's make more noise when driving. Those who have either of these 2 c/c plates can I get some feedback. Thanks.

I had J&m's CC plates (same as pro3i), and I removed them and sold them because they transmitted too much road noise....and I am a stickler for noises in my car.

Try this old thread that I started:

I have had mine on for 3 years, seems to be pretty solid. No problems at all, they are constructed solid, hold the bolts in place and actually look nice.

depends on your goals. a spherical bearing will transimit more road noise but only on crappy road surface. I like the fact that the sperical bearing will not shift under load holding your alinment more in a corner.

you can never run coilovers or anything with a piece like the mac.

I have maximum motorsports right now. I like them there is some road noise on occation though. I would still buy them over the mac but that is me.

I have had the macs for over a year now, and no problems...no noise...car corners like my roommates 01 Vette. I have progressive rate lowering springs too.
