I was thinking about dumping my Borla side exhaust system this summer. I was wondering if anyone has used the Mac Performance high flow h pipe they make and the dual exhaust system they make for the GT's. I think they have both the parts in the partshopper section. If anyone has done this what do you think about the sound and the look of it? Thanks. :nice:

I know I'm not you but if it was me I would try for a X pipe instead of a H pipe. I'm sure they sound about the same with the same mufflers etc but I would think a X would flow better my self. Just my .02 worth.

im wondering the same thing? im getting a v6 supercharged mustang at the end of the month and its got mac duals and im wanting an hpipe for it, and i to need to know if that sounds good or alright or not

I would use one or the other for sure but I'm sure they don't bother the sound much. All I know is they help on noise in side the car and help the car flow more exhaust. If you stop and look at them, the X seems to flow more than a H pipe.

I dunno I just have the MAC Straight Flowpath series on my 02 v6, I put an X pipe in mine tho. It came off of a 96 with an H pipe, it did make it considerably louder, even though its not a fair comparison between a 96 and 02...but I do think the X made a vast improvement. Compared to my friend who has a GT Takeoff on an H, mine's 20x louder :)
