Mac exhaust or JBA

I've been looking at the JBA and MAC exhust setup and am having a tough time deciding. I have a sound clip of the JBA's and they sound pretty sweet. I was wondering if anyone had a sound clip of the MAC axelback exhaust? Also does JBA make a long tube header?

I am either going with JBA shorty's and axelback
or
Macs long tube, catted prochamber's, and axelback setup.

What would you recommend?

well i dont have an 05, but im working and bored lol... but i have dealt with mac products and i am not impressed in the least. i have seen their cai s, headers, mid pipes, and catbacks... they are all sub par in fitment and overall quality. they are cheap yes, but you get what you pay for. if you are biting the price bullet on the headers and getting jba (very very nice), dont skimp on the rest of the exhaust. the prochamber mid pipe is not bad, they sound pretty good and are one of the better mac pieces. but i would suggest the bassani X. as to the catback we have always had great experience with bassani, borla, and magnaflow. with exhaust, we have always gone from back to front lol, catback, mid pipe, then headers. the catback will change the sound, midpipe will change the tone and volume and texture etc. the headers will do a little of both, but are not as drastically, especially shorties. just my .02... you usually get what you pay for. bassani and borla and magnaflow are all pricy, but you will not be dissapointed, i promise.

RedBullit: Do you think JBA long tube headers, JBA Off road H-Pipe, and Magnaflow Magnapak Exhaust would be a good combo?

I heard someone else on here say the same thing about the Mac products.

I went for the MAC axleback kit, and I have LOVED it!
The mufflers are polished stainless, and are mighty sexy :nice: The sound is just incredible, but it does have a cabin drone, pretty bad. But for the sound it gave me, I think I can dynamat that and make it better.

RedBullit I agree with what you are saying. I really want to go with the JBA setup but I could not find a place that sold a long tube header by them. The only other thing I am fighting with is I really like the sound that the Prochamber produces (heard it on a friends fox). The only problem with the prochamber is that one pipe is longer than the other forcing you to fabricate or buy their headers which sucks. If JBA does a longtube though I think I will go with them front to back. I've decided to go with one company for ease of application primarily since I don't really have the resources to be fabricating ****.

Can anyone give me some links of good companies that sell the JBA and MAC products.

Thanks

Also it appears that the JBA's and MAC exhaust setups or fairly close in price. I wasn't even really focuses on price. I do believe in you pay for the best you get the best. In most cases. :)

those 5.0s are a whole differnet animal, the sound is just not the same lol. i dont think you would be dissapointed with that set up. bassani make a great mid length, optimum length they call it, i havent looked into the jba for a while, so im not up on the catalog. basically, bbk and mac are about the same. cheap, but low lower in quality than the higher priced ones. just look around, maybe seanhylandmotorsports.com, rpmoutlet, or modulardepot.
