Im installing the white face gauges. I plan on cutting the holes bigger so I dont have to remove the needles and just laying them on top of the factory ones. Has anyone tried this and are there lighting problems???

I wouldnt do this, just take the needles off and your stock gauges then put the new ones on. Its real easy and shouldnt take more then 30 min.

Hmm. Not a bad idea, but you would DEFINITELY have lighting issues. I installed mac gauges awhile back; it really isn't that hard (if you didn't know, the odometer can act as a digital gauge readout to help to calibrate the new needle positions). In the day, the mac gauges look great! I personally didn't like the lighting at night, and thus changed to different gauges. Good luck!
