i have a set.

will the stock header bolts work or will i need to get some with a small head? if so dose anyone know a part number or what i need to get?

nope sure don't.

If your local parts house has somebody there that knows what there doing tell them you need header bolts for a ford.

The new bolts will have a 3/8's head on them.

i got some Mr. Gasket headers bolts....3/8-16 x 3/4 im pretty sure that is the size i need.

Those will work.

Personally I will never buy anything but locking header bolts from now on. I went through more header gaskets on my 88 with regular non locking bolts. The $55 for a set of stage 8 locking header bolts is worth it.

hmm well ill see how these work if that happens ill invest in a set.

I like using Allen head socket bolts on headers. Put some locktite on them also. This will help keep them tight. For some reason aftermarket headers like to loose the bolts.

Same here, not to mention you can down to a local Autozone and they sell them in packs with the rounded head tool.

I get them from work. Stainless steel bolts is all we use we always have them setting around.
