So I went to the muffler shop yesterday to FINALLY install my O/R H. Went to the shop because of the previous custom X pipe I had welded behind the stock cats, I needed some flanges fabricated on the muffler side in order for the Mac O/R H to fit. Now the shop didn't have a problem with that portion of it, but with the passenger side flange, which they say would not fit no matter what and would create a leak if I went ahead with the install.
I trust these guys and have gone to them many times for other work and judging from the custom work they've done for the countless 60's mucle jewels people have brought in and the other stangs too.; they know what they're doing. They suggested that I may have received the wrong year H pipe.
My question is do any of you know of a MAc warehouse in the Los Angeles area and if so do any of you think they would exchange my pipe should it prove to be the wrong year?
