mac prochamber

i absolutely love the sound of a prochamber  i had a full mac exhaust on my old stang & it sounded great. i can't wait until either i have time, or my shop has time to install my new stuff for me  i miss that sound :(

I have had the Pro-Chamber for 7 months and I love it. The sounds is amazing, and with the Packs it is even better. I had my mechanic put it on and he said that he has never seen a better fitting exhaust system, and he works only on Mustangs. It took him two hours to put that and the cat-back on. I paid around $239 shipped and was well worth it, especially when everyone compliments the exhaust! Get one, you will be pleased.

I had the full length prochamber for about three years. I then put on a set of LT's and went with the shorty prochamber. I have the old full length one if you are interested.

I, like other people, have just the Prochamber and flows. I've been wanting to get LT's for quite a while now, but didnt know how it was going to effect the sound (love how it is now). How would you compare the before and after sound?

When I went from the stock headers and full length PC to LTs and a shorty PC, I didn't really notice much change in sound. The sound got a little raspy around 3K RPM, but was gone by 3.5K. Other than that, there was no change.

For what its worth, my Prochamber is a nightmare and THE biggest PITA part I have ever bought for a car. I have had it for a year and a half, and it never stays fully sealed to the stock headers for more than a few months. I have replaced the manifold studs, I have gone through 2 MAC gaskets and I am on my 3rd OEM ford gasket for the stock exhaust system. Right now its not being driven, but when it comes out for the spring, I have to fix it again. I cannot tell you how many wrenches have launched because of this. I always told myself not to sell the exhaust, just fix it. But if this spring's fix doesnt work, its going in the trash. I dont reccomend the Prochamber to anyone with a short temper :) and people who have to have their cars running at 100% at all times.

I havent had any problems with mine either, sorry to hear about it though. Have you tried putting any loc-tite on the bolts or something?

I love my Prochamber and 3 chamber Flowmasters. Everyone compliments me on the sound. It's pretty quiet at Idle, but once I drive, heads turn. The install on mine was a breeze. One of the ends was a little bent during shipping, but I can still get a good seel. I highly recommend it plus I saw about 10hp gain.
