Mach 1 chin spoiler question

I have a 99gt limited edition and I just got a mach 1 chin spoiler for it from the ford dealer at cost but when i go to put it on it doesnt seem to fit flush all the way around if i put the ends flush with the wheel well it seems to pull the front back a little from flush is this normal thanks

It's supposed to be flush with the wheel wells and slightly back from flush in the front. I attached mine at the wheel wells first, then worked my way around pulling it into place as I went. I was suprized at hou much I actually had to pull on it to get it in the proper position. I used the Ford part too.

which is the best way to go , leave away from the wheel well or leave in at the front a little just looking for some suggestions thanks.

yes, limited edition 35th anniversary edition black leather seat with silver inserts and pony, diff wheels, honeycomb inserts etc. will post pics when I get a chance

On the Mach's, it's set with the rear edge even with the fender well. That makes it a little set back from the front edge.

Looks better flush with the front edge away from the fenderwell IMO.

Thats how I did mine, Diffinitely looks better

Same here. I taped it on so i could get it even all the way around. Then drilled the holes. I did it that way on both my 99 and 03.

I did mine flush with the front. looked better. I taped it on bothways to see which I liked and the flush front looked better IMO
