Hey all,

I have a 2003 Mach 1 that is originally a manual transmission. Due to a disability, I am swapping in a 2003 Mach 1 automatic transmission. Aside from the gotcha, about the 8 bolt vs 6 bolt flexplate, either I didn't look well enough at my car or something, but the harness from the car seems to be missing a connector for one part of the harness. From the car, seems to be the main connector and the passenger side front O2 sensor. I am waiting on the flexplate to come in so I can keep installing, but I'm not sure if this will also be an issue.

Any ideas?

Hey all, I checked the engine side of my harness and didnt find this connector. The transmission side looked like this:

I decided to go with a Quick 4 from US Shift and hopefully this will wire up fine.

I did have an issue with the Flexplate as well, I have an 8 bolt crank, vs the 6 bolt that is in stock Mach 1 automatics. I picked up a 99 Ford Mustang GT Flexplate, which was an 8 bolt crank pattern. It matches up to the stock torque converter in the 4R70W and bolted up to the engine just fine.
