hi i got a mach 1 delete 2 peice kit from blueovalindustries.com
they dindt send me any screws to put the pony in the grill what am i supposed 2 do?

Yeah.. you can either go to a ford dealership and get the pushpins and blind rivets you need.. or do like me, return all the crap to blueoval, then order it all through Randy Stinchcomb at modulardepot, for much less, with all 3 pieces, and the hardware included.

where is it on their website? all i see is stickers and bumper letters for exterior dress up

I second the motion about sending it back. I got mine from Steeda and it came with everything I needed. Screws and all. It was a 3 piece.

well dale jarret ford is about a 5 minute drive from me so i guess ill just get the hardware tommroow

The main reason I was telling you to send it back, is because I also originally ordered the 2 piece thing from that company on eBay. I saw tons of threads about people arguing the 3pc vs the 2pc setup. I didn't care one way or the other. But once I put the 2 pieces on, I realized that it looks incomplete without the plastic radiator cover (the 3rd piece.)

The reason I sent the entire kit back, was because I wanted the rad. cover.. and from my local Ford dealer it cost as much as the entire 2 pc kit cost from blueoval. I sent it all back, and got the 3 pieces from Randy with the mounting hardware, for I believe the same amount I got the 2 piece kit for. You can re-use some of the hardware from when you remove the old grill. Make sure to get the right screws to mount that emblem, or it'll be loose and rattle around.

Regardless of what you decide to do, it's still a 200% improvement over the factory grille, and you'll be darn happy you made the switch IMHO.

The reason they sell 2-piece kits is because you already have the 3rd peice technically.

The stock inner grill on the GT is the same as the MACH 1 peice except the hole used to mount the floating pony isn't cut out. The idea of the 2-peice kit is for you to trim open the hole and use the GT inner grill trim....instead of removing it and leaving it empty.

Once trimmed, you would never know the difference.

Here's the Mach 1 inner grill (center peice)

Just trim the center and good to go.

Well, the problem is, the "middle piece" as you call it doesn't look like that when it's installed on the vehicle. The angle that picture was taken at makes it look almost like the plastic rad. cover above, which it does not.

As I'm sure you're aware, that piece in the second picture also is on the mach 1, with the plastic rad cover being a separate piece, as it is when you buy the 3 pc. kit.

Just use two of the bolts that you take out when you remove the old grill. That's what I did

I didn't mean to suggest it as an alternative to buying the 2-peice. I myself bought a 3-peice kit for my Mustang. I was just simply saying that if someone was to buy a 2-peice, they could avoind not having the rad cover at all by modifying their stock one.
