MACH 460 6 disc changer: Is there a shuffle/random play mode? The very similar 6 disc changer and it has a SHUF button that rotates between No shuffle, shuffle track, shuffle disc & track modes. The one in my 04 GT doesn't have that, it seems. Am I not seeing it?
Your owner's manual should cover all aspects of the changer's operation, have you looked there? I know I wouldn't admit to reading the manual myself but, I promise I won't tell anyone if you do.
Nothing in the manual, so I would say no. But I just find it hard to believe that they did not include a shuffle/random play feature. That's one of the most basic features of any CD player. Even the $10 portable ones.
The 04s have the "satellite radio capability". Still, I can't believe they took off random play. They could have deleted a channel preset button instead.
