I have a 97 Cobra equipped with the Mach 460 stereo. I recently replaced the radio and cd player with an Alpine CDA-9857. Since then I lost my front and rear driver side speakers, however the driver side tweeter works. They are not blown I have tested them both, and there are no visible fuses blown. Are there any hidden fuses for either of the amps in the rear deck?
I have been working with stereos for a long time, but this is the first time I've ever had something like this happen. I also bought a Scosche adapter from Crutchfield, that allowed me to use the factory amps and speakes. so it isn't an issue because of incompatible components. Plus, my passanger side front, rear and tweeter work perfectly. Which leads me to believe that one of my amps isn't functioning properly. (All of the connections are tight, already checked those.)
Any suggestions would help. Thanks
