Long story short...I either need to get a new mach 460 for my 2003 gt or I need to find a place that can fix the unit in the NYC/Tri state area.
Internally, there are two little springs in the cd changer that allow the 6 cd changer to move between cds. In my unit these 2 springs are stretched out causing the cd to jam internally when moving between any of the 6 cds. This is not the same as the ejection jamming problem talked about in other threads...the player cannot move between cds and gets locked up. I took apart the player and found the 6 slot holders were all out of whack and jammed.
Hopefully I can find a cheap place to get it fixed or I may just buy a whole new mach 460 head unit depending on the price.
How much is a new mach 460 unit?
