So from my understanding, If i purchase the adapter for a after market HU my mach 460 system will work with no problems? I love the way it sounds now I just want to add aditional amps for some subs....I saw on Mustangworld.com how you can splice into the mach 460 system to add an amp but I dont want to take any chances.

Thanks Guys
Tony

You can do the amp bypass thus allowing you to use your aftermarket radio (pre-amped) Now sometimes, you get the popping sound when you turn on the radio, what you can do to compensate for this is to solder a capacitor on one of the wires.. which one i forget.. Im sure someone can dig up a post about that.

I replaced mine when the cd player pooped. You need an amp interface adapter to make the 460 work with the new HU. Do a search in the sound and shine forum for mach 460 and the tech should come up.
