Mach one hood with Vortech problems

I have a 89 mustang gt with a 306 and a vortech s-trim. I purchased a Cervini Stormin norman hood and it doesnt clear the supercharger. I also have a Upr kmember kit as well..... Has anyone had this problem???????????????? Please help

Usually they clear, where are you hitting? What intake is on the car, do you have a intake spacer?

the front top of thr supercharger is hitting just behind the vent in the hood on the pass side about inch back

Exact same problem here with exact same hood and Supercharger. Thought I was the only one. Im running a stock K member though

Only thing i can think of was my Prothane Motor Mounts

probably right about the prothane mounts. I had to remove mine and install some vert mounts for my novi to clear.

Ive noticed the Prothane mounts are much beefier than the Energy Suspension mounts. I may try to swap them out see if that helps. It barely rubs, but it was enough to remove paint from the underside of the hood.

I had that problem installing my Vortech t trim on the 408W. The hood hit the top of the SC. The engine couldn't go down any lower, the bottom of the oil pan only had a 1/4" clearance for the steering rack. I installed k member spacers and had no other issues.
