Hey all,

Im looking to buy a Mach1 Chin Spoiler from American Muscle. In the description, it says that it will be folded in a box for shipping, and that if left out overnight, will go back to its original state...

"Chin spoilers are shipped folded. If left out overnight they will cure to their original shape."

Has anyone witnessed this? OR, should I just pay the extra to have it shipped in a huge box.

Thanks!
Merbs

I got mine folded up and left it out in the sun for a few days and it straightened out perfect...I bought mine from Randy S on MD for $85 with extra mounting hardware...

Yep, if you leave it out it should straighten out perfect.

Or you could use a hairdryer. Just lay it out flat and blow the hot air onto the folded areas. They will flatten out pretty quickly.

Got mine last week from MustangTuning (folded, with free shipping). Left it out (in the house) for a little less than 2 days before I could install it and it straightened out perfectly.

WOW! No complaints here! I orderd the parts (Chin spoiler/fog lights/Lug nuts) at about 2:00 on Wednesday...I got home today and they were on my porch! I pulled the Chin Spoiler out of the box and it is all ready to be put on my "Ellie Stang." I was hoping they would be in by Monday which is my day off...I cant wait till Monday to put it all on! lol
