mach1 died while driving

Hi

I have a 2003 Mach1 with 80,000 km

The car was stored for winter with a 3/4 tank of premium gas & fuel stabilizer, I drove 10km no problem, parked for 2 hrs, attempted to drive home and about 2 minutes into the drive the car was deprived of fuel and died, i could not hear the fuel pump prime, had it towed with a flatbed
I could not hear the fuel pump prime for about 24 hours, then it started priming no problem. The car runs fine while parked, I haven't driven it since other than the driveway. (I have not changed the fuel pump filter. The fuse is fine. No error codes, it has oil, fan belt is fine.

Hoping I can get some advice please,

Hi,
I suspect the Fuel Pump is going and will proceed to replace it along with the Fuel Filter.
Wondering if OEM is a good option or I should look at other pumps - i read people use the Ford Focus Fuel Pump
