I dont see why that list wouldnt work. If you want some better info/advice you should list out your combo and goals a little better.

A good setup for what? Drag racing, street performance, road racing? Looks like a N/A stroker motor with some cams. How much is that going to cost? I dunno, but I don't think I would be going that route, but to each his own.

I don't know man. It's still a mod motor, and they aren't known to produce a lot of horsepower normally aspirated, without some pretty sophisticated porting and machining. My guess would be that setup would net about 375-400hp, maybe, unless I'm missing something, because I don't see a magic bullet there that is going to produce bundles of horsepower.

I would say that 12k would be better spent on an Aluminator long block, either N/A or S/C, and top it off with the blower of your choice, either a Whipple, KB, or Procharger, and have a motor easily capable of 600-700hp.

Stop posting new threads on this topic. I just merged SIX! threads on the same topic together and deleted five of your posts, so it makes sense when you look at it.

How is it going with the setup?

I'm running the same cams in a 99 Cobra

- Comp Cams XE278AH #106500 w/intake cams advanced to 108 C/L with the recommended valvesprings.
- 30lb injectors.
- Pro M meter calibrated for 30lb and CAI.
- BBK twin 65mm throttle body.
- Aluminum flywheel with Centerforce DF.
- 4.30 gears.
- March underdrive crank pulley.
- BBK cold air intake.
- Minor porting of the intake.
- Full length header/off road X-pipe and 3 inch Cat-Back with bullet mufflers.
