Has anyone heard anything about Mae Racing lately? I was referred to them by a friend a few months ago and ordered a new center section for my car. After a month I sent them an email asking when I should expect it. They said 5-10 days to ship. Another month went by and I've emailed them several times with no answer. Today I finally tried to call the number listed on the website and I got a message saying it was disconnected. Not something that I want to hear when I've paid them almost 600 dollars for something I never received. Any information or insight on this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks.

....maybe kick your "friend" in the sack?

I could understand using them if they're local, but if you were just looking for the best deal, you may be screwed. Might contact the BBB..... My first suggestion might be the only satisfaction you get.

Yeah that's them... Anyone else heard of them or had any experience? I'm starting to get a little concerned that I'm never gonna see my rear end or my money ever again.

I used to see items from them all the time on ebay. Mostly Ford center sections like you have paid for. I just searched for their ebay store and it said it was closed???

It looks like you aren't the only one that has had problems with them.

They are terrible.

The center section showed up two months after they had recieved my money order. Also, the posi unit they use worked for almost a week.

MAE Racing is Jack McCane Enterprises. He's at all of the Columbus shows. Met him at one of the shows and honestly he scares the he!! out of me. Not someone I'd do business with. On top of that I hear the KY Atty. Gen. has been out to get him for a while, and the BBB has a list of complaints against him a mile long.

I hope this was a credit card purchase so you can fight the charges.

Those post office money orders are insured up to 500 dollars, you can get that much back at least. There is a process for filing a claim of course. You know those government agencies and their red tape. You gota order a copy of the cashed money order and after you get that in the main in 3 or 4 weeks then you gota go fill out another form and include a copy of that copy hehe. I had to do it once but mine was for under 100 bux.

I'm going through a similar deal with a place called Classic Mustang, inc. in Connecticut. I bought two mandrel-bent exhaust systems about three weeks ago and recieved a few parts, but neither system was anywhere near complete, but all the parts were checked off as shipped on the invoice. Now I can't get them to return emails or phone calls. I hate businesses with no ethics.
