After installing my CAI there was a huge rubber grommet on the sensor wires that went into the factory air box. I cut it down with a razor blade as much as possible, but I still do not like the way it looks. Tried covering it with wireloom, but that makes it look a little tacky.

Does anybody make a clean looking replacement cable for MAF sensors? When you buy a new MAF, do you generally get a new cable? I am guessing No, but humor me.

None of the MAF's I've seen come with new wires or grommets. I made my own CAI and my wiring is tucked into the inner fender. Do you have any pics of what it looks like after the razor blade?

I can probably take one and post it sometime this weekend. It really doesn't look terrible. Just curious if anybody offers a cable solution.

I figured that the new MAF's didn't come with a cable. You've re-enforced my gut feeling.
